INSTRUCTIONAL EXPERIENCES
Mr. McKenzie has lectured on practice before the Collection Division of the IRS for the Center for Economic Progress and the Chicago-Kent College of Law Low Income Taxpayer Clinic.
Mr. McKenzie has given more than 500 hours of flight instruction, including many hours in high performance, complex, and technologically advanced aircraft. Recently, Mr. McKenzie has focused on emergency recovery techniques. Each year he has provided free ground and flight instruction on emergency recovery techniques, with a focus on spins, at the Cessna 150-152 International Fly-In held in Clinton, Iowa.
Mr. McKenzie is trained as a teacher and tutor for Kaplan, Inc. He has taught test preparation classes to groups as large as 70.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Mr. McKenzie is an FAA Certified Flight Instructor, Commercial Pilot and has served as an Officer in the U.S. Merchant Marines. He is a Member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and the Cessna 150-152 Club.
